Arun is a Senior Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience in clinical practice. He graduated in 2009 and has spent the last decade developing his skills in Musculoskeletal conditions, sports related conditions, TMJ and Concussion Rehabilitation.

 

Arun spent some time in Australia in his early career and completed Certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from Curtin University (Australia). He is a highly proficient manual therapist and very experienced in exercise prescription. Arun has a particularly strong background in spinal and peripheral joint pain, soft tissue injuries and sports related and post-surgical rehabilitation.

 

He likes to update himself with the latest advancements in physiotherapy. He has Certifications in:

 

  • Complete Concussion Management certification (CCMI Certified)
  • Spinal Manipulation Assessment & Rehab Training Certification
  • Basic & Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation
  • Vestibular Rehabilitation: Theory, Evidence and Practical Application
  • Functional Dry needling Level 1
  • Acupuncture Level 1 & 2
  • Customs Orthotic Therapy
  • Assessing and treating TMJ related disorders
  • Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Australia

 

While working in Canada since 2015, Arun developed a passion for treating Concussion & Vestibular patients (With vertigo and/or balance problems) be it from an MVA or Sports related. He has undergone some intensive training from Canada and USA to sharpen his skills to treat Vestibular and Concussion patients.

 

Additional notes for patients:

 

Arun treat a wide range of conditions including Vertigo, Concussion and TMJ dysfunctions. He is authorized to use needles and perform spinal manipulation from Physiotherapy Alberta College+Association. His experience with some national and state level players of wrestling back in India has given him additional confidence in managing a wide range of sports injuries. Outside of work Arun likes to stay active, exercising and spending time with family.
