Priti Jadiya

MPTh (Neuro)

Physiotherapist

Priti Jadiya graduated in 2009 from the Sancheti Institute College of Physiotherapy in India with a Bachelors of Physiotherapy. She continued her education, specializing in neurosciences, with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2012 from the Apex Rehabilitation Institute in Mumbai.

After working for three years in Mumbai, Priti relocated to Canada in 2015 with a quest for a new experience. She began practising orthopaedic physiotherapy in a private clinic in Edmonton under the mentorship of Fiona Styles-Tripp. She also gained various skills in orthopaedics through course work and has training in spinal manual therapy, Mulligan’s Concept, McKenzie Method and Biomedical Dry Needling.

While in private practice, Priti developed a passion for vestibular and balance rehabilitation. She completed her basic and advanced certifications in vestibular rehabilitation under Bernard Tonks and has completed extra course work in concussion rehabilitation. She has completed her Certificate of Competency in Vestibular rehabilitation from Texas. She continues to take courses to upgrade her knowledge and experience in VR.

Priti finds that helping patients with dizziness, vertigo and balance problems is very fulfilling as even small improvements can lead to a dramatic enhancement in function.

When not working at the clinic, Priti enjoys spending time with her husband and family, hiking, cycling, yoga, and crafting.
